Clipper's Canine Cafe is a family owned and operated pet boutique and bakery located on the beautiful Patuxent River in Solomons Maryland. The store's namesake is Clipper, Kate's yellow Labrador Retriever named after the clipper ships that sailed on the Chesapeake Bay. Clipper came from a raw foods breeder that raises all her pups on the raw food diet. He is an extremely happy and healthy dog and has been a great representative of the benefits of a raw food diet. At Clipper's Canine Cafe we carry a great selection of unique toys, spa products and apparel for your dog or cat. Clipper's Canine Cafe has three bakery cases filled with all natural gourmet dog treats including our custom made nautical treats. We also carry a variety of holistic pet foods including raw food diets. All the foods we carry are USDA approved human grade quality. They are free from preservatives, hormones, by-products, colors or additives. We carry the following foods for dogs and cats: Aunt Jeni's Home Made, Solid Gold, Nature's Variety~Prairie, Wellness, Innova, Bravo! Raw Diet, California Natural, Artemis, The Honest Kitchen, Raw Advantage, Dr. Harvey's, Primal Pet Foods, Northwest Naturals, Merrick, Canidae, Evanger's, Orijen, Verus and Wysong. All of these foods are available for purchase from our brick and mortar store.
